I offer 2 prenatal meetings to get to know you, talk about your expectations/ hopes for labor and how you like to be supported. We will also cover some childbirth basics (though I still recommend taking a childbirth class).
As your due date approaches, I will be available to you on-call two weeks prior to and two weeks after your estimated due date. You will be able to reach me by phone with any questions or concerns or just to receive some support. Once labor begins I will be with you through the duration of your labor and delivery. I provide support, encouragement, massage, guided mediation/relaxation, position suggestions, etc. I will keep a log (as appropriate) of your labor and provide you a written birth story after your birth. I will stay with you for about an hour after the birth to help with your first breastfeeding.
I am available for one post partum visit to help you with any problems you might be experiencing or concerns you have.
I am available for home or hospital births.
My fee is $400, inclusive of all the above services.
